Sometimes (or if you’re me, most of the time) life can really get you down. It could be work stressing you out, unnecessary drama from unnecessary people, or just feeling the need to crawl back into bed and do nothing. 1. Give What You Get
You should always aim to give what you get. When a stranger smiles at you on the street, don’t give him a “fuck off, freak” look – smile back. When someone shows politeness by holding a door open for you, remember to thank them. When someone crosses the line with you, always be ready to fire back.
2. Push Things Aside
Sometimes, we are faced with situations that are better left alone that confronted. If you feel like facing something head on is going to being on a migraine with no resolution in sight, don’t even bother.
3. Play Dumb
I’m not promoting downplaying your intelligence. But there are times when you have to pretend that you have absolutely no idea what’s going on. These could be times when you don’t want to be pulled into something, don’t want to be taken advantage of, or just don’t have the capacity to deal.
4. Avoid Drama
Don’t hold on to little, insignificant things. If someone’s creating drama in your life, just phase them out of it. Let this person be the annoying human being that they are. Why let it bother you? Karma may not act fast, but she sure as hell hits hard.
5. Be Honest
Honesty is a beautiful trait. You should always speak your mind. If you like something, talk about it. If you don’t like something, speak up. If you feel like bashing someone’s face in, say it loud and clear.
