Your Guide to Glowing Skin

I’m not too big on makeup. It’s probably because I’m not any good at it. I can’t contour or highlight my face. I don’t even know how to apply foundation properly. My makeup consists of eyeliner, mascara and lipstick.

Because of this, I like to keep my skin as clear as possible. So far it’s been working quite well with me, so I thought I’d share my skincare routine.

Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment

This face mask is a miracle. Honestly I don’t know how I had lived without it for so many years. Yes, you look like a swamp monster while it’s on, but after that you emerge with beautifully glowing skin. I guarantee that this mask will change your life. I try to use it 3 times a week for the best results. This mask can be found at Sephora.

Ocean Salt Face Scrub

Exfoliation is key for soft, clear skin. I love this scrub because it’s actually made of sea salts, so you can feel all that dead skin coming off while you use it.

Herbalism Face Cleanser

Herbalism

If you have oily skin like me, you should definitely use this Herbalism Face Cleanser from Lush. I had a little trouble using it at first because you have to mix some of it with water to create a paste. Things got messy the first few times around. You get used to it eventually though. I like it because it’s a very gentle cleanser, so you don’t feel like your face has just been through hell and back!

Tea Tree Water Toner

Finally, I finish it off with a toner to keep my skin fresh. This one has grapefruit water in it and it makes my face feel so fresh, almost as if I’ve peeled off an entire layer. Everyone knows about this Tea Tree Water secret in Kuwait though, so it’s usually out of stock. When it’s not in stock I substitute it with the toner below.

Breath of Fresh Air Toner

While I do prefer Tea Tree Water for my toner, this one does the trick as well.
